Grain exports from the French port of Rouen totalled 312,667 tonnes in October, comprising 230,483 tonnes of wheat and 82,184 tonnes of barley, port officials said on Tuesday.

That compared with total grain exports of 544,000 tonnes in the whole of October last year, comprising 499,000 tonnes of wheat and 45,000 tonnes of barley.

Officials said no vessels were in port on Tuesday.

Another two vessels were expected in the coming days to load 22,500 tonnes of wheat and 15,600 tonnes of barley for unspecified destinations.
